The Team
Kim Diaz, DNP, APRN
Kim began her nursing career in 2011 at NCH’s Cardiothoracic Unit, where she worked as a floor nurse and charge nurse. She earned her Doctorate in Nurse Practicing from the University of Florida and has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2016. Passionate about patient care, Kim co-founded Essence of Health to offer high-quality, individualized healthcare. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, cat, and dog, as well as reading and being outdoors.
Sasha Takala, APRN
A Naples native, Sasha earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2011. She worked at NCH for four years before becoming a nurse practitioner through the University of Florida. With a decade of experience at Naples Heart Rhythm Specialists, she specializes in both medical and aesthetic care. She is certified in neurotoxins and dermal fillers through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. When not in the office, she enjoys time at the beach with her husband and three children.
Amanda Cruz, Patient Care Coordinator
Amanda, originally from Miami, has been a Naples resident since 2020. With extensive experience in patient services, she ensures smooth appointment scheduling and medical records management. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she is committed to making healthcare accessible to all. Amanda holds an Associate’s Degree in Psychology and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children outside of work.
